In 1938 Nick Nave originated the idea of Nick’s Restaurant, the longest standing restaurant in Kingsport, TN. Nick was committed to serving the best southern traditional food and was credited in bringing the tradition of broasting chicken and potatoes to Kingsport, TN from Louisville, KY. A great deal of credit also goes to Clarence Hobbs who purchased the concept from Nick. Clarence remained committed to the traditions created by Nick Nave for over thirty years.
Under new ownership, the long standing traditions created by Nick Nave and Clarence Hobbs are being passed down through the service, fresh ingredients, and expanded catering options. Our goal is to ensure that the great traditions are maintained and quality never compromised.
